Nobody stays at the same job for 40 years anymore.

We have room to move around.

The ability to reinvent is one of WorldVenture’s greatest virtues. The reason why we have workers serving 40 years is because they follow God from one season to another within WorldVenture.

For example, you might start out as a rural church planter. You then find the people have no good translation of the Bible, so you join a translation team. From this new passion, teaching opportunities arise, and you begin training others to translate as well. After a while, a local university wants to launch a new school, and you begin building curriculum and classes for the school. Once it is established, you begin your fifth career with WorldVenture: publishing school books.
