Experience the work that Restoration Ministries is doing in the poor areas of Sao Paulo. Accompany the RM staff in their weekly visits to the homes of children and assist in the weekly VBS activities. On weekends help at the camps for children or attend the church that is connected with the ministry. General Director of the Spanish Language Institute

Since 1942, the Spanish Language Institute has helped over 15,000 missionaries achieve the language skills needed to serve the Lord in the Spanish-speaking world. In addition to unparalleled language instruction, the Institute offers help with housing, a grade school, a day care center, recreational facilities, pastoral counseling and the opportunity to fellowship with other missionaries who are preparing for service in Latin America. The Spanish Language Institute is registered in Costa Rica as a non-profit association. Association members meet at least once a year to elect the Board of Directors and approve the annual budget. The Board meets monthly with the General Director. The General Director is assisted by the Administrator, the Academic Director for the adult language program and the Principal of Sojourn Academy. This administrative team meets weekly, together with representatives of the Counseling and Pastoral Care Department, to seek the Lord’s guidance and coordinate activities. (Education)

Children and Families at Risk

Many children suffer from abuse and neglect in the city of Loja, Ecuador as a result of a poor family unit. Fathers can often be abusive and absent from the home. Part of this is a result of the poverty in the society. The worker would minister to children at risk as well as work with the family social unit to improve these conditions. (Family and Medicine)

WorldVenture is working to establish a church planting movement in Loja, Ecuador. The mother church in Loja is working to establish new churches throughout the province.
