In this Missions 101 training session, Chris Wynn will be talking about the key characteristics for those who want to be make a difference and be obedient to their call. Great missionaries have learned the art of being a life-long learner, flexible, adaptable, and are willing to walk with humility. Thriving missionaries are able to have a grasp on their own identity while also identifying cultural differences and adapting accordingly.
The Apostle Paul also speaks to these characteristics in Philippians 2. He encourages the church and leaders to walk in humility. His wisdom is a reminder of the call to serve others and always maintaining an attitude of putting others above yourself. This same attitude and humility can be brought to the missions field in order to be effective in reaching others for Jesus.
