Hope Alive!, a WorldVenture child sponsorship ministry, is planning to start a primary, secondary, and vocational school in the Gulu area. A significant amount of land has already been purchased and the building will begin in 2018. The primary school is expected to start in 2020, the secondary school around 2021, and the vocational school after that. Some of the land will be used for animal husbandry projects to provide food for the children and to make the school more self-sustainable. We are looking for someone who is willing to train young Ugandans to take care of a variety of animals. The vocational school will include animal husbandry, so there will be an opportunity to teach practical skills in the school setting as well. Many of the local communities do not have easy access to a veterinarian, so providing clinics in the surrounding area is another potential opportunity.  Read More
