This project provides funds for supplies and development of children's programs throughout the churches in Rwanda.
This project puts “hands and feet” to the gospel, as the children feel the love and support that they often neglect to find at home and do not find in the church.
The community around New Creation Ministry is a very low-income area. A majority of the children in this area have been abused, either physically or sexually, and they struggle to find enough funds to attend school. In addition, the churches in this community do not want to help these children because they do not have the means to give offerings back to the churches.
The project seeks to address the needs of children in Rwanda by ministering directly to these children through our Rwandese staff.
A Rwandese staff member meets with some of these children on a weekly basis and, through her ministry, many of the children have become believers. She is the only pastor many of these children know. Part of her ministry is to meet the families, minister to their needs, encourage the children, and give them a safe place in the midst of a very difficult life.
