Team Church Planting
Work alongside a Filipino church planter in starting a new church in a strategic locations in the Philippines. This may be pioneering work in a new location, tribal church planting, planting a daughter church of an existing church, or starting a house church. It also may be helping a small existing church still in need of significant help in becoming strong and healthy. No previous experience or training in church planting is needed.
Note: This opportunity is not available from January 2019 - July 2020.
1. People person with relational skills. 2. Ability at relating to unbelievers & skills in leading evangelistic Bible studies. 3. A good working knowledge of the Bible and theology. 4. Work well on a team. 5. A burden for the lost in helping them practically and spiritually. 6. Male, couple or two females working together. Note: No previous experience is needed as evangelism tools and church planting models will be given once on the field, along with hands-on, on-the-job apprenticeships in church planting.RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop redemptive relationships with many people. 2. Engage unbelievers in evangelistic Bible studies & small groups 3. Form the new believers into a church body. 4. Begin services. 5. Help provide leadership for the whole region in church planting. 6. The goal is to start a middle-class church so working primarily among professionals and business people, with opportunity to reach out to the disadvantaged as well.LANGUAGE NEEDS
Although English can be used in the larger cities with fairly good understanding, the ministry is greatly enhanced when one learns the local dialect. Therefore the first year on the field will be spent learning the language.LANGUAGE USED

Most likely living in a major city with much modern convenience and malls, but also having to deal with traffic, pollution, and the urban poor. Climate is quite humid. People are friendly and hospitableWORKING ENVIRONMENT
