An individual must love the Lord and be ready to share Christ through serving others with compassion. The team wants those individuals with professional training appropriate for the desired role. The person must ready for an adventure and have a heart for those that are living in darkness. A minimum length of commitment is 2 years. For Long-Term workers, an on-site vision trip is strongly recommended for training and preparation purposes.RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning French and Maninka is part of the bridge that allows someone to connect well and serve the community. Maintaining a personal walk with the Lord and participating in good team relationships is a must! Community health work is a wide open door and could involve teaching, empowering others for development, relief work, travel clinics and working in a private clinic. The setting could be urban or village. Participating in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting is part of the package as the ministry develops.LANGUAGE NEEDS

NE Guinea is a pioneering place. We live off the grid with limited resources. We use well water and solar electricity. The largest town Kankan is about 300,000 people with many surrounding villages. Living takes lots of time and energy.WORKING ENVIRONMENT
NE Guinea is a community filled with opportunities to use one’s gifts and diverse skill sets The health infrastructure is limited and health promotion as well as health care is greatly needed in this region. There are other medical professionals to collaborate work with. . There are a few churches in the largest town but the majority religion is strong and there are almost no village churches. The gospel has yet to penetrate and transform the community.INTERNSHIP
