Currently, we are cultivating as many redemptive relationships as we can handle among the unreached communities of Mombasa in order to build platforms from which we can share God’s truth. One-on-one and small group mentoring, counseling, prayer walks in the predominantly Islamic Old Town of Mombasa, monthly Asian fellowship meetings attended by followers and seekers, formal discipleship, teaching and building up of the saints at FBC-Mombasa are also significant components of our strategic plan to multiply followers of Jesus Christ.
We continue to provide leadership training through an annual conference, TEE materials for the pastors and their “Timothys,” assistance in the construction of church facilities, and other practical material aid when funding is available. Production and recording of biblical stories in the Digo storytelling style also continues.
Workers in Kenya hope that additional team members, both career and short-term, will be added to their force. Then the work of the Kenya field will come to full maturity in proclaiming God's purpose for this important east African nation.
