Commercial Pig Farm Operator

Join us for a truly unique opportunity to build and serve! Eternal Hope (eternalhope.net) is seeking two married couples who have a heart for serving the most vulnerable, and who also have a passion to see business used as a vehicle to fund ministry. These couples will oversee a commercial Ag enterprise and the introduction of ministry in a village setting. Our vision is to build a commercial pig farm (the first of it’s kind) in Uganda to provide a sustainable income source for the rescue and long-term aftercare of girls who have been trafficked and sexually exploited. The feasibility studies and financial models have been completed. Land is being purchased currently. As we look to build out the farm later this year, our prayer is that we will have identified two couples to lead this enterprise and ministry, and their field training will have begun! Two unique couples will have the opportunity to oversee the establishment and scaling up of a commercial pig farm. Yet, equally as important, they will have the opportunity to serve in a local village environment 50 km outside of Kampala. While the business income is a means to an end (sustainable, ongoing funding source for ministry), the business will also serve as a natural outreach vehicle for the local village and community. The income from the farm will provide housing and care for 200 rescued girls at a given time. These girls will receive healing through love, biblical counseling, schooling and/or job training. An absolutely wonderful opportunity for the right people! *Although the rescue and aftercare ministries will continue to be very closely aligned with Eternal Hope, the management, care and oversight of the rescued girls will continue to be overseen by existing Christ-centered ministries in Kampala.
