Dr. Randy MacFarland
Randy continues to serve as Chair of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He leads the Board in their engagement with setting the future direction of the mission and enjoys serving God in this leadership role. Randy served as a church planter and pastor (CBHMS), and was part of the faculty and administration of the New England Center of Seminary of the East before his appointment as VP of Training & Mentoring at Denver Seminary in 1997. Randy is currently the Chief Academic Officer & Chief Administrative Officer at the seminary, and is known for his expertise in mentoring, theological education and the application of theology to daily life. Randy and his wife, Karen, live in Parker, Colorado and attend Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Maggi Garrison
Maggi continues to serve as Vice-Chair of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. She brings an exceptional knowledge and understanding of missions and the local church to our Board. Maggi is the Mission Coordinator and the Women’s Ministry Director at Palmcroft Church, and believes that the challenges of doing missions in our world today make this an exciting time to serve. It is her desire to see the Lord glorified through the obedience of the body of Christ to the Great Commission and the formation of partnerships with vital global ministries. Maggi and her husband, Brent, live in Phoenix, Arizona.
Rev. Andy Spohrer
Andy continues to serve as Secretary of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. Having given much of his life to WorldVenture ministries, Andy brings a deep understanding of the workings of the Mission to our Board. He has built valuable relationships with our U.S. supporting churches. Most recently, Andy served as Interim Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Brewer, Maine. He also served in several capacities with WorldVenture including being a church planter in Ireland and the East Regional Ministries Director. Andy and his wife, Nancy, live in Newburgh, Maine.
Dr. Jeff Denlinger
Castle Rock, Colorado
Jeff serves as the President of WorldVenture. He co-labors with the Board of Directors and the WorldVenture staff, to assure that Christ-centered values, vision, strategies, plans, and actions are discerned and embraced for faithful obedience to the Lord of the Harvest. He came to WorldVenture in 1988 as a mid-term missionary working in the Philippines. In 1990, Jeff and his wife, Christine, became career missionaries with WorldVenture in Venezuela. Jeff was asked to become a member of the leadership team at the home office in 2002 to provide oversight to the development of teams and the implementation and achievement of strategic priorities of WorldVenture ministries around the world. He became President in November 2012. Jeff and Christine live in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Mr. Tom Buxton
Tom serves as a Member-at-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He is currently Principal of Interbizgroup, LLC, which assists office products businesses in improving their margins while increasing customer loyalty. Tom has served with multiple other businesses helping them to re-create themselves and increase their profitability. He has also served on the Youth for Christ board in Denver, as Chairman of the Board of Elders and Interim Pastor at Our Savior’s Church in Lakewood, and has coached football for 15 years at Lakewood and Columbine High Schools. Tom and his wife, Jenny, live in Littleton, Colorado.
Rev. Pat Cottrell
Huntington Beach, California
Pat serves as a Member-At-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He has had the joyful privilege of serving as pastor of Calvary Baptist in Huntington Beach CA for the past 27 years. During the early years of pastoral ministry, his heart became intertwined with several WorldVenture missionaries. As these relationships were cultivated, long-term partnerships between Calvary Baptist, missionaries and WorldVenture have developed with Ephesians 3:20-21 being our experience. Pat lives convinced that everything God has done sets us up to be a part of even more glorious works of His – locally and around the world. Pat with his wife, Camilla, live in Huntington Beach, CA.
Dr. Mark Hanke
Mark serves as a Member-At-Large of the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He has a long record of faithful service on the Board and will continue to provide biblical guidance to the Mission as it engages churches in discipling the nations to Christ. Mark serves as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Salem. He is a diligent student and teacher of God’s word and has led WorldVenture missionaries and staff in a number of Bible studies. His personal mission is to live in such a way that his Savior is pleased, his wife is cherished, his kids want to imitate him, his friends appreciate him, and the people he serves and loves are glad God gave him life. Mark and his wife, Kerri, live in Salem, Oregon.
Mr. Tom Hayes
Tom serves as a Member-at-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He is currently Executive Vice President of International Ministries for Insight for Living, where he selects, trains, and equips national partners to serve as field pastors; identifies new ministry opportunities; and develops growth strategies. Prior to accepting the EVP position with Insight for Living, Tom served as Pastor of Missions and Community Impact at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco. Tom brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the areas of missions in the local church and community to our Board, and will play a significant role in assisting WorldVenture with future strategy and direction. Tom and his wife, Katie, live in McKinney, Texas.
A. G. (Bud) Lindstrand
Bud serves as a Member-at-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. Bud has served faithfully on the Board for the past six and a half years and his experience in business and finance has helped ensure a financially sound platform for WorldVenture ministries to continue into the future. Bud is a retired business executive who continues to contribute to his community by helping organizations gain a strong financial footing. He also serves in a wide variety of civic affairs in Portland and has dedicated his life to honoring and serving God by providing leadership in a number of international ministries. Bud and his wife, Gail, live in Portland, Oregon.
Mr. Stephen C. Raffaele
Stephen serves as a Member-At-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He is a longtime and well-known Texas Banker. He currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of American Bank, N.A. with executive offices in Austin and Corpus Christi, Texas. His previous experience includes serving as CFO, COO, Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer, and Treasurer at various banks in Texas. Stephen has a BA in Business from Baylor University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He believes that his success in business is merely a means to more directly integrate his faith in a way that impacts more people for Christ. He and his wife, Catherine, have been are members of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas, where they are actively involved in missions and small groups.
Mrs. Susan Seto
Oakland Gardens, New York
Susan serves as a Member-at-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. She has been a member of FBC, Flushing for over 35 years, during which time she served as a member of the Missions Committee, and helped her church develop their short-term missions program. She currently serves as the Prayer Coordinator for her church. Professionally, Susan is a Medicare Insurance Specialist who helps seniors find the most suitable Medicare plans for the lowest cost to meet their needs. She is committed to serving the Lord both locally and globally and is an excellent member of the Board. Susan and her husband, Shek, live in Oakland Gardens, New York.
Dr. Byron Spradlin
Byron serves as a Member-at-Large on the WorldVenture Board of Directors. He is the Founder and President of Artists in Christian Testimony Intl, a ministry and missions sending board for artistic and innovative ministries and missionaries. Past ministries include Campus Crusade for Christ, the Continental Singers, youth and music pastor at First Baptist Church, Richmond, California, and Jews for Jesus. Byron will help WorldVenture increase its sensitivity to and embrace of artistic missionary staff, and their gifting for kingdom service. Byron’s passion is to assist the church worldwide to worship God, by proclaiming Christ in the appropriate language and cultural style. Byron and his wife, Pam, live in Franklin, Tennessee and attend Grace Chapel, Leipers Fork Campus.
