|Finish Carpenter & Cabinetry Shop||2 Weeks||Lifetime||South America||Bolivia||Following the Master Carpenter provides a positive opportunity for young men to learn a trade in order to earn a future income. The vision is three fold. 1) To see young men come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be educated in the Word of God. 2) To provide orphanages with safe durable furniture. 3) To develop a high end cabinetry and furniture line for the local Bolivian market. Following the Master Carpenter is both a development ministry through their furniture donations to orphanages and also a Business as Mission site through their cabinetry line. BLESS is working in evangelism and discipleship through Sports and operates under local church sponsorship in two cities (Cochabamba & Santa Cruz) with BLESS Volleyball, BLESS Soccer, and BLESS Kids’ Sports. Our goal is to live out our identity as Jesus’ church through sports.
Most Bolivian non-Christians will not enter an Evangelical Church because of cultural stigmas. But Bolivians love to play sports. So our goal is to “do church” on a volleyball / basketball / or soccer court, taking church outside of a building and creating a natural place for personal discipleship and open evangelism.
