Our People = Our International Missionary Staff

WorldVenture is a mission organization and more importantly a global network of passionate people mobilized by the calling of Christ to reach all nations with the good news of the gospel. This network is composed of international staff (i.e. missionaries) who are willing to be sent, supporters and churches who are willing to send, and national partners who are willing to join together and reach their own people.

What We Do For International Staff

WorldVenture is the mission organization that sends more than 500 Christian staff in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. We come along side churches in sending and supporting cross-cultural missionaries.

We bring services for supporting and equipping missionaries for the specific field and work they plan to do, thus allowing the churches to focus on loving and engaging in the missionaries' work, rather than staffing for this specialized support.

We offer training to churches to help them extend their impact globally.

We provide over 65 years of experience sending and supporting missionaries on the field, both with emergency medical and political evacuation, family care, training and continuing education, financial processing and tax services, etc. For an extensive list of benefits to missionaries download this PDF.

Our Diversity

One unique thing about WorldVenture is our variety. Our great talent is effectively coming alongside diverse ministry visions targeting cross-cultural locations on every continent. We’re not just Asia or just Africa or just Europe. The power in this wide network is found in our fifth global objective “Encouraging Missions Movements.” Missionaries within our network are able to reach out to colleagues and create connections between cultures. For example, we have church planters in the eastern suburbs of Paris mobilizing regular mission trips to French speaking West Africa to encourage the church there as they bring resources to a regional Bible school.

WorldVenture could be thought of like an aspen grove. The amazing thing about groves of aspens is that under ground they are all connected. Actually, more than just connected, they are actually one tree. One seed forms a huge root system underground and the trees you see on a hillside or in a valley all spring up from that one root system.

If you're not into tree biology, no big deal; the point is that WorldVenture’s substantial diversity of ministries share a deep, core unity under the surface. Our core commitment to God and the good news of Jesus is our root. No expression of mission work from us grows up from any other root than this.
