Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for Hope Alive!	Uganda \| Africa

Job Summary:

Use your nursing skills to facilitate medical ministry with Hope Alive! ministry to at-risk kids in Uganda.

Responsibilities:

Hope Alive! is a rapidly expanding child sponsorship program that transforms lives of children-at-risk, orphans and child-headed households caused by war, disease, poverty and HIV/AIDS through physical help and spiritual teaching. Your role will be to use your nursing skills to help kids, mentors and care givers in preventative and/or curative medicine.

Requirements:

Nursing degree or RN degree. Nursing experience with and love for children and the needy helpful. Solid church and Christian experience, sense of call, ability to live with ambiguity, and skill as a self-starter necessary. Willing to live in community. Candidates with long-term intent favored. Minimum of 2 years preferred. However, internships of 6 months or more are possible. Timing must be confirmed with Catharine Coon.
