Leadership Training for Hope Alive!	Uganda \| Africa

Job Summary:

Use your leadership training ability to facilitate Hope Alive! ministry to at-risk kids in Uganda.

Responsibilities:

Hope Alive! is a rapidly expanding child sponsorship program that transforms lives of children-at-risk, orphans and child-headed households caused by war, disease, poverty and HIV/AIDS through physical help and spiritual teaching. Your role will be to use your leadership training ability to train biblically and developmentally mentors of children, older children and care givers.

Requirements:

BA in Bible or Seminary MA/MDiv and/or lots of ministry experience. Experience with and love for young adults and the needy helpful. Solid church and Christian experience, sense of call, ability to live with ambiguity, and skill as a self-starter necessary. Willing to live in community. Candidates with long-term intent favored. Minimum of 2 years preferred. However, internships of 6 months or more are possible. Timing must be confirmed with Catharine Coon. This position will become Long-Term (4 years or more) only beginning in 2012.
