Leadership Trainer	Rwanda \| Africa

Job Summary:

Multiple trainers are needed to teach Rwandese church leaders in all sorts of non-formal settings. Lots of practical emphasis, small groups, problem solving.

Responsibilities:

Begin with language learning.Teach and disciple. Develop teaching materials fresh for the Rwandese situation and culture. Teach for practicality and development of character. Teach to develop their ability to think critically and problem solve. Develop relationships with the students, visiting in their homes which are in all parts of Rwanda. Help revive the Lay Training Institute, which is on hold for lack of time to put into it. It was designed to train and disciple lay leaders in the various churches of Rwanda. One man came who has a ministry with college students and young adults. He wanted to know if NCM could provide in-depth leadership training for 20 or so leaders in this ministry. It was extremely painful to tell him we couldn't do it at this time. Second, likewise we've had a burden to take the wealth of material we've prepared and write it up into books that can be widely used in churches for training and discipleship. NCM has 32 courses prepared in Kinyarwanda, developed from scratch for the Rwandan situation. People are asking for them. Once again -- the time to do it is not there. Pray for this -- if our burden is God's, may it happen somehow.

Requirements:

A Masters degree from an evangelical seminary. Training and reading in cross-cultural communication and in being a change agent. Gifted as a teacher. Burden for discipleship. Resilient and adaptable personality. Strong devotional life. Conviction that God wants you in Rwanda with MNC.
