Administrative Assistant for Hope Alive!	Uganda \| Africa

Job Summary:

Use your administrative/secretarial skills to facilitate Hope Alive! ministry to at-risk kids in Uganda.

Responsibilities:

Hope Alive! is a rapidly expanding child sponsorship program that transforms lives of children-at-risk, orphans and child-headed households caused by war, disease, poverty and HIV/AIDS through physical help and spiritual teaching. Your role will be to use your administrative skills to help the business/office functions in Uganda and smooth communication with sponsors.

Requirements:

BA degree and/or experience in administration, and/or administrative assistance. Experience with and love for children and the needy helpful. Solid church and Christian experience, sense of call, ability to live with ambiguity, and skill as a self-starter necessary. Willing to live in community. Candidates with long-term intent favored. Minimum stay of 2 years is preferred. However internships for 6 months or longer are possible. Timing must be confirmed with Catharine Coon.
