Job Summary:

Build the church in Congo by training in and using IT (information technology).

Responsibilities:

Sequentially: Learn language and culture. Learn the currently used level of tech. Develop a technology based ministry program such as computer training, internet material production or other IT uses for mass promotion of the gospel and broad training. Coach others in IT. Train the next generation. Prepare materials for broad use. Train broadly. Develop and work with a team of other committed nationals.

Requirements:

Degree and/or broad experience in IT and Bible/theology, MA level even better, compassion, coaching ability, team work, able to work in a difficult area with limited teaching resources, able to learn languages. Experience a huge plus. Before final commitment an in-country vision trip to assess opportunities and help you prepare for the challenges seems essential. (A woman should not come as a single, should come either married or partnered with another single woman.)
