Job Summary:

This is a strategic opportunity to join a church-planting movement in a 10-40 window country.

Responsibilities:

Partner with a healthy national local church in a church planting team in a strategic city in Tokyo or northeast Japan. With less than one percent of the population Christian, there is a great need for team-player church planters willing to work under a local church. The church planters would develop contacts and based on gifting, function in different areas on the team.

Requirements:

BA plus an MA in missions or MDiv. Experience in church planting is very helpful. Experience in leading small groups is important. A team player with a humble, servant's heart. Japan is a slow area of ministry requiring faithfulness, tact and patience. An understanding and anticipation that God is working through the Japanese national church is vital.
