Job Summary:

The CEO has overall responsibility of the administrative and spiritual leadership of the Health Care Ministries (HCM). He/she is accountable for planning, organizing and directing the HCM to ensure that the vision and ministry direction of the HCM is fulfilled, that quality patient care is provided, and that the financial and moral integrity of the HCM is maintained.

Responsibilities:

Lead and cast vision for the HCM. Establish and maintain an Advisory Committee approved by the ICF Management Board (MB). Supervise the functions of the Christian Ministries Director, Community Development Director, Administrator, Nursing Director, and Medical Director. Recommend to ICF (B) standards, policies and procedures, monitor them and ensure compliance among staff. Coordinate recruiting efforts for needed national and expatriate staff. Seek overseas funding for approved HCM projects.

Requirements:

Health care background (MD/MBBS/Nursing/paramedical qualification/healthcare administration) with professional training in management (MBA preferred). Minimum of five years administrative responsibility in a health facility or organization with proven leadership and administrative ability. Training in personnel management desirable. Culturally and socially sensitive with good communication, interpersonal, analytical, and teaching skills. Be in agreement with and supportive of the other ministries of ICF (B).
