Job Summary:

Build the church in Congo by building the huge educational system related to the church by writing Bible Curriculum for the school system.

Responsibilities:

Sequentially: Learn language and culture. Learn the school scene. Possibly teach Bible in one school to learn applicable academic level and student thinking. Prepare Bible teaching materials for broad use including publishing or finding materials. Train broadly. Work with a team of other committed nationals.

Requirements:

Degree in Christian Education, Bible or equivalent, writing interest and ability, compassion, coaching ability helful, team work, able to work in a difficult area with limited teaching resources, able to learn languages. Some experience very helpful. Before final commitment an in-country vision trip to assess opportunities and help you prepare for the challenges seems essential. (A woman should not come individually. She should come either married or partnered with another single woman.)
