All benefits are covered by financial support to be raised by each missionary. This website description provides a basic overview of benefits and services for your convenience. Prospective missionaries are provided with complete details of the support package during the application and support raising process. Missionaries must raise sufficient support to cover the costs of these benefits.

1. Donor Services - WorldVenture handles all of the giving transactions with your donors and provides you with reports so you can track your relationships effectively.
2. Medical Insurance for Short-Term and Mid-Term Missionaries - An insurance plan is provided through a commercial company that offers world-wide coverage for doctor visits, hospitalization, major medical and, when necessary, evacuation. This coverage includes family members. A supplemental life insurance option is available with this plan.
3. Counseling & Crisis Intervention - Dealing with tough situations is a normal part of venture life on the field. WorldVenture provides support when and where it is needed.

1. Retirement Plan/Pension- WorldVenture now offers a defined contribution plan. The amount contributed to your account is included in your support package and it is completely portable to another organization if you ever choose to leave. WorldVenture provides referral to an investment advisor to assist in answering retirement planning questions.

3. Medical Insurance for Long-Term Missionaries - WorldVenture has a self-funded and administrated medical plan that provides world-wide coverage for missionaries. It covers doctor visits, hospitalization, and major medial, optical, dental, and medical evacuation.
4. Life Insurance - All missionaries are covered by a standard amount for both husband and wife. A supplemental option is also available through our life insurance company.
5. Tax Preparation Service - As a free service to all long-term missionaries, WorldVenture contracts with a tax preparer to handle your federal tax returns. There is a small charge for state returns if necessary. This service is provided by knowledgeable professionals who understand the implications of living overseas.
6. Overseas Transportation and Relocation - WorldVenture sets aside reserve funds to help you make the transition back to state-side living when you return for home assignment.
7. Housing and Logistics Support - WorldVenture will base your monthly support needs on the cost of living for your field location.
8. Utilities Assistance - This is a part of your normal salary to help cover the cost of utilities while living overseas.
9. Prayer Letter Assistance - We help you print and send your monthly prayer letters to your donors so you can keep those vital relationships alive. .
10. Vehicle Savings Program - When it's time for a new vehicle, you'll have the funds saved up to buy it as long as the funds have been raised through your monthly supporters.
11. Rent Assistance - This plan provides for house rental while you are on home assignment.
12. Equipment and Computer Support and Funding - This benefit allows you to find and use technology to the fullest to enhance your ministry.
13. Ongoing Training and Continuing Education - Whether on the field or at home, we want you to develop and use the skills you need to minister effectively.
14. Leadership Development - Ongoing training to strengthen and support the passion and vision God is developing in you and your team.
15. Children's Education Fund - This fund provides for your child's education while on the field, plus an allowance for college.

• Fundraising Assistance
  WorldVenture provides every missionary candidate with the training needed to be effective in raising funds for their monthly needs and outgoing expenses. Our training process is designed to help you find donors quickly and efficiently. We will not do it for you, but you can count on our support to help you in the process.
• Missionary Development
  Growing in Christ, developing the gifts God has given you, acquiring additional ministry skills, or increasing the relational and collaborative skills of working with others, the missionary development team encourages and assists wherever possible. When things get rough on the field, WorldVenture is there with both formal and informal efforts to strengthen, maintain and restore members for effective service. When you need the extra help, we offer crisis intervention, contingency planning and ongoing training.

  Your professional development benefits everyone. WorldVenture missionaries are encouraged to pursue graduate programs, professional seminars and conferences that will strengthen them for the challenges they will on the field. When you discover a course you'd like to take, we encourage you to write or call us so we can help in your finding a program which will fit into your home assignment/field schedule and your needs.
• Your Children
  Your kids are of great importance to WorldVenture. We offer the very best resources, including our own child and education consultant, to help you and your kids make the adjustment to missionary life and its challenges. Attending a three-day education planning seminar designed to help you to make wise decisions regarding your children's education is an integral part of your pre-field experience. • Emotional Wellness
  To help with the transitions between field and home assignment, we offer an emotional wellness checkup in addition to physical checkups. Re-entry into life in the States is the perfect time to assess the growth points in your life and ministry. A week-long time of debriefing with other missionary colleagues is provided for mid-term and long-term missionaries. This valuable process helps you gain perspective on your past term of service with a view toward future plans.
