Education Educational requirements are determined by the type and location of ministry. The requirements to teach English as a second language are different than a church planting missionary. WorldVenture missionaries typically have some formal education in Bible. We also consider your life and ministry experiences that equip you to be effective in cross-cultural situations. Church Affiliation WorldVenture missionaries come from evangelical churches and denominations. Those seeking appointment to WorldVenture must be able to sign the organization's doctrinal statement and hold to baptistic beliefs. Citizenship WorldVenture appoints people who are members of and minister in local churches and are of U.S. citizenship. Non-U.S. citizens are considered on a case by case basis depending on their INS status. |
