Preparing to serve in church development,
children’s ministry and photojournalism in Mali
God has been preparing Jeff and Heidi Frazee to be his servants in Mali, West Africa, for many years. Jeff and Heidi anticipate building strong, redemptive relationships through professional and domestic work. Jeff will be using the skills he learned while earning degrees in teaching and photojournalism. While providing service and education for the Malians, Jeff hopes to establish relationships that would lead to sharing Christ’s love. Heidi is excited about raising her family in Mali. She is gifted with hospitality and looks forward to opening her home and reaching out to local women and children. She is also pursuing ministry to local orphanages.
Heidi grew up in a missionary family and became a Christian at age 4. She had positive and negative experiences on the mission field that shaped her views and developed a desire in her heart to return as an adult.
Jeff grew up in California in a Christian family. As a young child his parents were often surprised by his unusual grasp of spiritual things. He accepted Christ at 7 years old. Jeff and Heidi met at Moody Bible Institute and fell in love. After graduating and getting married, they spent three years in West Africa serving in a church planting setting and at a boarding school for missionary children.
Mali is a country that is 90 percent Muslim, and much in need of Christ’s love. Being drastically different from America, Jeff and Heidi understand, that until they live in Mali, they will only begin to understand the ministry God will open up for them there.
