WorldVenture is launching an initiative to penetrate at least 20 new areas of ministry by 2010. The effort will also involve recruiting and training the missionaries needed to reach the many people in those areas who do not know the love of Jesus Christ.
Venture 2010 is the cornerstone of our plan to help fulfill the work of the Great Commission. But it takes powerful partnerships to transform the millions of lives that will be the "harvest" of the years ahead. And you can help!
The Five-year Goals of Venture 2010
More people following Christ. More than 100,000 new believers, baptisms and disciples in training.
More compassion and care extended. More than 265,000 needy people helped.
New churches established. 1,500 new churches started and 260 new daughter churches launched.
Additional church leaders trained. 32,000 leaders in training worldwide.
More international mission churches doing missions work. 460 churches on our fields around the world newly engaged in direct, crosscultural missions activity.
