Ministry Focus
Dave and Amy Terpstra plan to partner with the church in Mozambique to help develop younger church leaders in the emerging generation. Many people recognize the continent of Africa faces enormous challenges like disease, poverty and lack of infrastructure. However, the greatest challenge for Africa is a lack of leadership—especially in the African church.
Dave plans to work with existing church leaders who have little to no resources and help them develop their skill sets and vision in partnering with other Mozambican church leaders. He also hopes to develop a number of Business As Mission (BAM) business models that can help financially sustain local pastors and provide products and services for those struggling inside the church.
Amy plans to partner with childrens workers inside of orphanages, schools and the government, to act as an advocate for the over 10 million Mozambicans who are under age 18. She hopes to help train them in areas of child development and help establish adoption and foster care options that will help alleviate the hopeless situation of many Mozambican orphanages.

Anticipated Ministry Focus Partnering with Mozambican churches in leadership development and child development training.
The People Although living in poverty and under systems of corruption, most Mozambican pastors and Christian leaders are hungry for skills and training to help them serve and lead the families entrusted to them.
Ministry Experience Over the last nine years, Dave and Amy have served in various roles at The Next Level Church, where Dave has led the church as the Teaching Pastor.
Prayer Focus Please pray for the Terpstras as they partner with individuals and churches in the U.S. and prepare to serve the church in Mozambique.
