Mission at-a-Glance

Primary Ministry Focus Sam seeks to stimulate a healthy church by nurturing and mentoring key pastors. Connie seeks to restore emotional and spiritual health to believers through recovery ministry.
The People Sam works with pastors and their wives, laymen and emerging pastors among Bible college students. Connie ministers to emotionally wounded believers and trains leadership teams for the ministry.
Major Challenges Pastoral attitudes of self-sufficiency and reluctance to admit a need for spiritual accountability and nurturing relationships. Nurturing ministry teams over a widespread geographical area. Developing leaders for the recovery ministry.
Prayer Focus Pray for openness on the part of pastors to admit their need for support groups and to then make it a priority in their lives. Pray that brokenness and true humility will characterize more and more of those who participate in the recovery ministry as they realize their need for divine restoration. Pray also, that more churches will embrace the need for a recovery ministry and empower the leaders God is calling out of their churches to lead this ministry.
