Ministry-at-a-Glance
Anticipated Ministry Focus The Flaas envision seeing Austrians of all ages impacted by the gospel. They plan to encourage Austrians to grow in Christ so that they will then invest in others for Christ.
The People Austrians of all ages, both Christians and non-Christians, with an emphasis on youth.
Ministry Experience Jon has worked with junior and senior high youth for seven years and has participated in short-term missions to Honduras, New Orleans and Mexico. Kelly Jo has worked with youth, participated in short-term missions to Mexico, and spent four years as a dorm assistant in Germany at Black Forest Academy. She also planned and co-led a two-month missions team to England, Romania, South Africa and Mozambique.
Prayer Focus The Flaas would like prayer for the many details that will be part of their training and preparation. Pray that God would continue to develop in them a passion for the people of Austria. Also, please pray for consistent growth in their walks with God and that their testimonies will influence those around them.
