Ministry Update
Lloyd and Jan Chinn continue to serve in the areas of leadership development and discipleship in Ghana, West Africa. Using a community-based training model, the Chinns minister directly to the needs of pastors and church leaders through one-on-one discipleship and large seminars and workshops. “It has been very exciting to see some of the young leaders mature and develop into effective ministers of the gospel,” they add. Equipping leaders who then equip others, fulfilling the multiplication ministry, is the hallmark of what Lloyd and Jan hope to accomplish.
Another exciting development for the Chinns is a promising relationship with the Bible Church of Ghana. This new partnership will lend to the Chinns being able not only to be involved in ministry across West Africa, but also to provide more training for the leaders in the most underserved areas of Ghana.
The Chinns desire and vision is to implement the initiatives of the Nkwanta Leadership Equipping Center. This implementation will include putting the character formation models in place and executing a peer/mentoring program. The Chinns also have on their horizon promising ideas for sustainable community economic development for the coming term.

Ministry-at-a-Glance
Primary Ministry Focus Leadership development, small group discipleship, women’s ministry development, and church planting. The People Ghanaians are gracious, friendly people. They accept the concept of God and are open to Christianity, but have had issues distinguishing true faith in Christ from their traditional practices. Ministry Experience The Chinns have taken three short-term trips to Ghana to train rural church leaders. In local church ministry, Lloyd has been active in men’s discipleship, leadership training and counseling. Jan has been active in women’s ministry development, counseling and worship. Prayer Focus Please pray that the Chinns would find laborers for their field and for the Lord’s provision on building a training and discipleship facility.
