What is a Global Missions Partner?
As a Global Missions Partner, you will join a strategic group of individuals and churches to help fulfill the five-year goals of Venture 2010, identified by the WorldVenture staff on five continents. These bold goals relate to the objectives of the organization:
1. More people following Christ.
2. Compassion and care extended.
3. New churches established.
4. Additional church leaders trained.
5. More mission churches doing mission work.
What changes when I become a Global Missions Partner?
As part of the “support team” for WorldVenture, you will help fuel the work of missions from the inside out. We will include you in “partner only” level communications and information. This is designed to keep you up-to-date and as well informed as possible about the impact you’re having through your support.
- Every month you will receive a special newsbrief called World Report — full of short updates from the field.
- You can participate in the Global Mission Partners Weblog where you can post comments, answer questions and add prayer requests. Just as our staff prays weekly together for our missionaries, we will pray for you as a member of the team.
- And you’ll be informed of important ministry developments through e-mail and audio Executive Briefings.
What do I do as a Global Missions Partner?
1. Pray for WorldVenture and its bold new initiatives.
2. Support the organization and its Venture 2010 initiative with regular gifts.
