It may well be that you have never known a day in your life without hope, the only hope:  that God raised Jesus to life.  That one day we will be raised with him.   One day this aging body will be made forever new.  One day our decaying planet will be swallowed up in life.  One day God will rain down his perfect justice.  He will gather us into the glorious city of his promise.  One day Jesus will take me into his very real arms.  One day we will shed our very last tears at his very real feet.  We will be made whole.  On that day death and dying will be overcome by life and living.  This is our hope!

Of course, you know this.  And so you celebrate Easter.  You know what is at stake.  If Christ was not raised, our faith is an illusion, our work is in vain, and our message is a lie.  If Christ was not raised, death has the final word.  You are without hope.

But God did indeed raise the Lord Jesus and he will raise us with him.  And so you celebrate.  You are indeed rich with hope and I hope you are rich with joy.
