<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="http://worldventure.com/Community/utility/FeedStylesheets/atom.xsl" media="screen"?><feed xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" xml:lang="en"><title type="html">Lloyd &amp;amp; Jan&amp;#39;et Chinn</title><subtitle type="html" /><id>http://worldventure.com/Community/blogs/chinn/atom.aspx</id><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://worldventure.com/Community/blogs/chinn/default.aspx" /><link rel="self" type="application/atom+xml" href="http://worldventure.com/Community/blogs/chinn/atom.aspx" /><generator uri="http://communityserver.org" version="3.0.20510.895">Community Server</generator><updated>2008-03-12T03:31:00Z</updated><entry><title>People Just Don't Get It</title><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://worldventure.com/Community/blogs/chinn/archive/2008/03/12/people-just-don-t-get-it.aspx" /><id>http://worldventure.com/Community/blogs/chinn/archive/2008/03/12/people-just-don-t-get-it.aspx</id><published>2008-03-12T09:31:00Z</published><updated>2008-03-12T09:31:00Z</updated><content type="html">&lt;p&gt;Often we look at one another and say in stereo, &amp;quot;people just don&amp;#39;t get it.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; It is usually because we have experienced something that would be unthinkable in the USA or because someone has let us know that this ministry is not worthy of their support.&amp;nbsp; Recently we experienced 3 weeks without power in Nkwanta - no power meant no water for 3 weeks.&amp;nbsp; We were staying in a guest house that has a generator - but fuel is so expensive that they were only running it from 6pm to 10pm daily.&amp;nbsp; And we began to think about our impending move to Nkwanta - we have had several people to visit us in Ghana and say things like;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;We will take care of your bore hole&amp;quot; or &amp;quot;Is that all you need?&amp;nbsp; that&amp;#39;s no problem.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; But alas, the funds do not come.&amp;nbsp; Honestly we have been discouraged at times.&amp;nbsp; But God reminded us recently that in Him do we place all of our trust - because He alone &amp;quot;gets it&amp;quot; -- He knows why we are here in Ghana because He is the one who commissioned us to go.&amp;nbsp; He knows our needs and will see to them - because He cares for us more than we could imagine.&amp;nbsp; God gets it -- He gets that His name must be made knows to the nations - He gets that the people will be lost if they don&amp;#39;t know Him through His son - He gets that He is EVERYTHING and that He Is Lord!! We don&amp;#39;t lose heart - because we do trust God!&amp;nbsp; But Alas -- People Just Don&amp;#39;t Get It!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;img src="http://worldventure.com/Community/aggbug.aspx?PostID=4200" width="1" height="1"&gt;</content><author><name>Chinn</name><uri>http://worldventure.com/Community/members/Chinn.aspx</uri></author></entry></feed>
