Rev. Andy Spohrer serves as the East Church Connections director for WorldVenture. He visits churches — preaching, teaching, leading seminars and workshops — and aids missions committees in helping their churches refine their missions vision and develop ways to fulfill this vision globally and locally. He also assists and encourages WorldVenture missionaries and missionary appointees in their support-raising activities. He and Nancy, his wife, have led seven Prayer Walk/Vision trips to North Africa and are available for new locations as churches express interest. WorldVenture appointed the Spohrers in 1991 to serve as missionaries to Ireland. Rev. Spohrer has lived in Philadelphia, pastored in Maine for 23 years, served on the CBAmerica board and on the founding board of Seminary of the East, and traveled throughout the East area raising support for serving in Ireland. In March 1996 they returned to the United States for Rev. Spohrer to accept his new position as East Church Connections director, which he began on April 1, 1996. News Release
