In June 2007, WorldVenture endorsed Rev. Harold Britton to serve as the West Church Connections Coach to come alongside pastors and mission leaders to encourage, train and discover the best strategy churches can take to reach their community and the world.
Britton focuses on cultivating, growing and maintaining healthy church partnerships, training church leaders as they prepare their congregation for missions work, strategic planning and sending missionaries worldwide. He also works with church leaders in establishing a mission mindset and developing synergistic church networks locally, cross-culturally and globally.
Britton has actively served in church leadership for 35 years, and comes to WorldVenture after 10 years working with Caleb Project, a similar ministry based in Colorado. In partnership with the U.S. Center for World Missions, he has supervised over 100 Perspectives classes. Perspectives, a 15-week missions course offered by churches, helps students discover what God is doing around the world. It is an excellent tool to mobilize congregations for local and global outreach.
In October 2007, Britton was granted a license as a minister of the gospel by Sierra Madre Congregational Church in California. He resides in Littleton, with his wife, Gwen, who is also serving with WorldVenture, and their two sons, William and Luke.
